Information in English
The Alfred Delp Studiennetzwerk supports young, motivated women and men through education during their studies, aiming to develop their personalities, deepen their religious quest, and grow in responsibility towards others. The Study Network enables its fellows to connect internationally and globally, guided by Ignatian spirituality and the humanistic tradition of the Jesuits. The Alfred Delp Studiennetzwerk belongs to the Central European Province of the Jesuits, headquartered in Munich.
The support is structured as follows:
- Introduction days at the beginning of the support period for mutual acquaintance and as an introduction to the network.
- Annual meeting of all fellows on a significant sociopolitical or religious theme.
- Spiritual retreats to find new orientation and escape the stresses of everyday life alongside studies or apprenticeships.
- Online seminar evenings per semester on current sociopolitical, ecological, or religious topics.
- Study trip at the end of the support to a location of Ignatian history (e.g., Loyola, Xavier, Manresa, Rome).
- Accompaniment in studies through a mentor, including a Jesuit as a contact person for content-related questions and pastoral conversations.
- Financial Support for discretionary use amounting to €500 per year. The costs for the annual meetings and spiritual retreats are covered by the Study Network. Fellows contribute €150 towards the final study trip, with the option to apply for support in cases of financial hardship.
The intended support period is a minimum of two and a maximum of four years.
The Alfred Delp Studiennetzwerk supports talented individuals seeking holistic personal development and openness to spiritual and religious questions, regardless of gender or sexual orientation.
